Ms. Katherine

I’m married and a Mom of two. I have been a stay-at-home Mom four of the last five years. I have a degree in broadcast journalism and then earned my teaching certificate. I taught at Casey Elementary for a year and Ridgetop Elementary for four years for Austin ISD. Before that I taught in Houston ISD for a year and at St. Martin’s Episcopal Children’s Center for seven years. I taught pre-k, kindergarten, second, third, and fourth grades. I love children and I’ve loved being at home with my own. Grace Garden is a small, loving school where I’m thrilled to combine both my love of my children and my love of teaching. I have a special interest in early childhood. I think birth through age eight is the most important foundational time in a child’s life. I think this is the time where children build the self-image and self-confidence as well as the academic skills that will carry them throughout their lives. Grace Garden is where I want my children to begin this journey and I am thrilled to be a part of your children’s beginnings too. Home
