Ms. Janet

I grew up right here in Austin, Texas and attended Reagan High School. My parents brought us to Austin in 1969 for my father to earn his PhD from the University of Texas. My parents fell in love with Austin, UT sports and the music scene and as did so many other Austin transplants, they never left. I graduated from Austin College in Sherman, Texas with a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Business Administration. I have worked primarily with emotionally disturbed children both in a residential treatment center setting as well as with Child Protective Services. I have always wanted to be a mother and my all time favorite job has been the past 5 years as a stay at home mom to my two children. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to teach at Grace Garden and I look forward to working together with parents to guide and love this group of 2 ½ year olds, the “Busy Bees”! Home
